Keisha is a 9 year old humble junior female golfer from Uganda who started her golfing expedition in 2014 at the age of 6 at the Uganda Golf Club. Keisha has risen from being a novice player in the holiday junior golf clinics to now ‘a princess of the greens’ as she is fondly referred to by her fans.

Born on October 31st 2008, in Kampala is racked up a slew of amateur and junior golf championships in Uganda and away before reaching her teen years, despite having such less frequent a formal coaching. A victory in 3rd place at the recently concluded 2018 Junior Africa challenge championship in association with the U.S. Kids Golf Tournament Players Association in South Africa and conducted by SA Kids Golf. Keisha alongside 140 junior golfers from 52 countries around the world received support and technical expertise from the TPA Her performance in South Africa earned her an automatic entry to participate in the Kids Golf world championship in Malaysia in December 18th - 21st of December 11th – 15th 2018 at the Tanjong Puteri Golf resort and the US Kids Golf European Championshipsresort May 28th – 30th 2019. Keisha’s has been participation participating in various local events in Uganda and the region and her performance has earned her a place in the Uganda junior team and membership at the Junior Golf Foundation of Kenya . She has been privileged to attend various unique golfing experiences for junior golfers to learn and expand not only their golfing knowledge but to gain new cultural experiences while making new friends in both local and international camps. In April 2018, Keisha in 2017 attended the St Andrews Links juniors golf camp, a unique golfing experience for junior golfers to learn and expand not only her golfing knowledge but to also gain exposure and experience. She has also attended and participated in the various local camps organized by the US Kids golf players association at the Lake Victoria Serena golf resort in Kigo While attending these camps, Keisha has interacted with some of the best professionals, experience playing some of the finest golf courses , Learnt about the history of the game as well as visited the British Golf museum. She has won various accolades that include various fields including discipline and smartness At her school, Keisha also belongs to the the swimming club, a sport where she has excelled and won different accolades in recognition of her competence.

For the past three days, the spacious Lake Victoria Serena Golf course has been a bee hive of activity as tens of junior golfers from four to 12 years competed in a classic Easter junior tournament. After the last ball was sunk one Lawrence Nambaale was crowned overall winner while Shaka Kariisa topped the eight year group among other winners.
